We recently launched ClinicAid in Ontario, expanding the reach of our online medical billing software to physicians and other medical professionals in eastern Canada. Our launch has come right on time as the Ministry of Health recently announced that all Ontario physicians will need to switch over to the Medical Claims Electronic Data Transfer (MC EDT) system by December 18th, 2014. Currently, Ontario’s doctors are using the EDT system that is modem based and will be decommissioned by the end of the year.
