It was a big year for CloudPractice!
Happy Holidays from CloudPractice! |
Our billing software ClinicAid was launched into two new provinces; BC and Ontario with a great response from all of our new users. In BC, ClinicAid is directly integrated with MSP’s Teleplan allowing physicians to validate patient PHN’s in real time, check eligibility for yearly procedures, and submit claims directly to MSP, WCB, and ICBC.
Our Ontario launch has also been hugely successful as we have made it easier than ever to submit invoices to OHIP. Any physician using ClinicAid can submit directly to MCEDT with just their GoSecure details, so they will no longer have to deal with batching invoices, and time consuming uploads and downloads and reconciliations. We handle it all, automatically.
Our biggest contributor to our growth with the ClinicAid product can definitely be attributed to our clients referring their colleagues. The vast majority of our clients are referring their colleagues, with some of the top referrers having upwards of 6 of their friends sign up to use ClinicAid! To all of our referring practitioners, a big thank you!
Finally, the ClinicAid program continues to grow with a new patient scheduling add-on that will be available for beta testing this coming January. The scheduling add-on will be perfect for any sized clinic that needs the extra bit of support without needing the full functionality of a complex EMR.
Our JunoEMR program has also been hugely successful with signups having nearly doubled since this time last year. This growth can be attributed to in part that the EMR Funding programs in BC and Alberta, PITO and POSP respectively have completed this year as well which helped with the amazing growth we have seen on OscarHost. We’re expecting the funding program to expire in Ontario in the coming year as well, so for all of you in Ontario, get ready to move over to one of the most cost effective and widely used EMR solutions!
This year we have also seen that physicians are increasingly becoming more trusting in cloud based services and are beginning to fully realize the benefits of not storing their data locally, the increased accessibility, stability and security that cloud based programs can provide over much more expensive in house solutions.
Another big hit this year has been the OscarHost webinar series where we invite all of our clients to sit in on a noon webinar to demo various aspects of the program and answer live any questions that our users may have. If you’re interested in attending webinars, keep an eye on your inbox for the next invite!
We have also launched MyHealthAccess.ca which was designed to integrate seamlessly with any OSCAR installation to allow for patients to book their appointments electronically. The response so far has been overwhelmingly positive, with several hundred patients already participating in the program with their clinics.
We’re excited to see what the new year will bring, and a big thank you to all of our clients for your continued support!
